GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) Secures Nok Air Fleet-Wide MRO Program, Driving Expansion Across APAC

September 16, 2025 – HELSINKI, FINLAND –– GA Telesis Engine Services Oy (“GATES”), a leading independent engine MRO, signed a multi-year, fleet-wide engine maintenance contract with Nok Air, a prominent regional airline based in Thailand. The agreement, covers Nok Air’s CFM56-7B engine fleet, is a result of GATES’ proven performance, flexibility, and customer-centric approach during last two CFM56-7B heavy shop visits completed in 2024 and 2025.

This long-term partnership with Nok Air underscores GATES’ growing reputation in the region. The first engine under the new contract has already been inducted into the GATES facility in Helsinki, Finland.

The agreement with Nok Air is the latest in a series of strategic wins for GATES in the broader Asia-Pacific region. In addition to the Nok Air contract, GATES has signed a new agreement with another premier Thai airline and has already completed several shop visits under that program. The company is also expanding its footprint in Japan and Indonesia, having secured three new airline customers and inducted engines from each of them in recent months.
